Tom has 20 years of civil and construction engineering experience delivered across four continents Tom brings a depth of knowledge of the civil engineering industry and a practical understanding of the challenges faced in ground engineering to deliver the best results for Mainmark’s clients. After the completion of his BSc Civil and Construction Engineering degree from Curtin University in Perth, Tom went on to hold a range of roles from project management for a small family-owned engineering firm as a specialist in tunnelling to consulting on a range of major projects. These projects included Thames Tideway and Crossrail as well as international projects in Kenya, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan. Tom moved to the UK in 2008 becoming Chairman of the British Tunnelling Society Young Members, sharing his passion for excellence in geotechnical performance. He has worked in the UK and internationally in Australia, Africa and Asia. Tom joined Mainmark in 2022 as General Manager to head up the UK operation and deliver the same market-leading solutions here that have been proven in Australia and New Zealand.
