Hossein’s unwavering passion for geotechnical engineering is evident in his diverse skill set and extensive experience across various disciplines within the field. He graduated with honours, achieving a 2:1 degree in Civil Engineering from the University of South Wales in 1986. Subsequently, in 1988, he completed his MSc in Structural Engineering at Cardiff University. During his tenure as a Research Assistant at UWE Bristol, he pursued his Ph.D. on a part-time basis, making significant contributions to a global research program that focused on characterising the behaviour of Bothkennar soft soil. Throughout the past 25 years, Hossein has played a pivotal role in technical sales within the Civil Engineering sector, with a strong emphasis on Geotechnical Engineering. His expertise spans various domains, encompassing advanced geotechnical testing equipment such as Resonant Column and Hollow Cylinder, Instrumentation and Monitoring, Piling, and anchoring.
