Sumit Singh is the Founder and CEO of DIY Toolshare, a UK peer-to-peer platform making it easier for people to borrow tools locally rather than buying everything themselves. After nearly two decades in banking, product management and building digital platforms, Sumit set out to bring two of his passions together: creating useful technology and DIY. A keen DIYer himself, he founded DIY Toolshare after seeing first-hand how many tools are bought for a single job and then sit unused. His mission is to make DIY more affordable, accessible and sustainable, while helping communities make better use of the tools they already own.
