Phil Clarke
Phil Clarke is the Founder and CEO of PCL Net Zero, a Lake District-based renewables company with over 23 years of experience in heating and low-carbon energy. He is also an Air Source Heat Pump & Future Energy Systems Researcher at Energy House 2.0, University of Salford, where his work focuses on bridging the gap between academic research and industry practice.
Phil specialises in the design, specification, and installation of sustainable heating systems, with particular expertise in retrofit and heat pump technology. His work combines two decades of hands-on delivery with ongoing research, giving him a pragmatic perspective on how to decarbonise UK homes and buildings in ways that are both effective and affordable.
