Lucy Conochie
Lucy works for a wide variety of clients from her base in Cambridgeshire. Her projects range from tiny courtyards to sprawling country gardens and small housing developments in collaboration with architects. Lucy’s designs are defined by an understated style, using a subtle and refined palette of materials to give schemes an elegant simplicity that allows the landscape to speak for itself.
In 2025 Lucy won a prestigious design award from the Society of Garden & Landscape Designers, and her design work and writing has been featured in The English Garden magazine, Gardens Illustrated, and The Garden Design Journal. Lucy has a background in Fine Art and Horticulture, having studied at Capel Manor College, and previously gaining an MA from the Slade School of Fine Art.
Lucy designs environmentally responsible spaces that are approached with consideration for people, the earth, and future generations without compromising on beauty or delight. This results in long-lasting gardens full of colour and interest that give back to nature.
