Wild in the Wolds

Jade @wildinthewolds is navigating the world of interiors as she renovates an 1820s Georgian Villa in Lincolnshire.

Jade is a trained typographic designer, but interiors and flowers have her heart. She combines the discipline and perfection of typographic design, with the fluidity and craft of interior decor and botanical styling, making a very special union.

Jade has an eye for the humble and the exquisite. From sourcing the finest materials to an appreciation of antique and well-made furniture. She sees the potential in a space to craft a feel that you’d think was intrinsic.

Creating soul in her home has always been a passion project of Jade's. Transforming a south coast townhouse into a beautiful and luxurious living space. Now in the Lincolnshire Wolds, in a Georgian character villa, Jade, with my husband, are reimagining the building that was built in the 1820s to be suitable for today’s living, whilst being sympathetic to its beautiful bones.

It’s an opportunity to practice her flair for interior décor and styling. From the ground up, taking the building back to its original glory, and bringing more to it, than it ever had. It’s a labour of love and whilst Jade tries to do a lot of the renovations herself, she get the pros in when needed. Jade always shows the ‘do-it-yourself’ nature, warts and all, but she's heavily focused on the aesthetic and providing inspiration through beautifully styled spaces.

Flowers play a big part in what Jade does, no styled vignette is complete without them. You’ll often find something botanical, wild and natural from me; from wreaths to styling a beautiful tablescape or mantle installation.
