Hidealoo
Architectural engineer Monty Ravenscroft is founder and inventor of Hidealoo – the world’s first moveable toilet mechanism. For the last 25 years, Monty has been pioneering “moving elements in architecture” including designing the largest single moving pane of glass in Europe, this he engineered to disappear into the ground to provide access to a garden. The idea for Hidealoo came for his invalid Father and needing to make better use of space in his home in London. With limited space, Monty got creative with a range of space-saving inventions. His ‘Sliding Glass Roof Peckham House’ project featuring on Channel 4’s Grand Designs programme.
