Dan has over 20 years experience as a garden designer and landscape architect; working on public and private schemes from design to completion. A multi-award winning designer including an RHS Gold Medal and multiple awards from the Society of Garden & Landscape Designers (SGLD). He is a registered member, an accreditor and judge for the SGLD, assessing new members work and judging the prestigious annual awards. Dan works as an RHS show garden judge at Chelsea and other flower shows and has taught garden design at post-graduate level for around 9 years. Dan’s background in fine art sculpture gives him an instinctive and creative flair displayed through each project; blending spatial design with his practical knowledge of ecology and horticulture. As a keen environmentalist Dan believes that careful choices made when designing gardens and landscapes can both improve the site for wildlife and reduce the budget required for the works.
