Briony Ace
Briony Ace is an Interior Designer and Stylist creating earthy, organic, character-filled spaces featuring vintage treasures, oversized lighting, handmade pieces and natural materials. Working with a richly textured palette of colours “you can see outside your window”, she designs with soulful simplicity — ensuring her clients gain as much function from their homes as they do beauty, inspiration and joy.
With nearly 20 years’ experience in retail and design, Briony has designed, sourced and imported homeware, and brought collections to life from concept to completion. She has curated retail experiences across multiple bricks-and-mortar stores, developed wholesale environments to complement brands, and designed for trade fairs and exhibitions nationwide.
After the birth of her second child, Briony’s approach to design deepened. Motherhood sharpened her understanding of what a home truly needs to be — not just beautiful, but practical, restorative and easy to maintain. This shift strengthened her passion for creating simplified, real-life spaces that support the way people genuinely live and work.
That momentum led to her on the well loved BBC's Interior Design Masters as a quarter finalist. Since then, Briony has designed homes across the UK and delivered virtual interior design projects internationally.
At Grand Designs Live, Briony shares honest, practical insight into creating spaces that feel personal, purposeful and deeply restorative — without compromising on function.
