Teratherm Energy are exhibiting at Grand Designs Live at ExCeL London this May, and for the first time, visitors will be able to see the Teratherm Surface in person.

Surface thermal energy is a new category of renewable infrastructure. Rather than drilling boreholes or installing external heat pump units, Teratherm Energy utilises an engineered build-up just 50mm beneath a standard, permeable resin-bound driveway, pathway or patio.

Rather than relying on deep ground temperatures alone, this intelligent system captures, manages, and reuses thermal energy from the sun, air, and ground. It uses controlled surface exchange and active temperature regulation to deliver highly stable performance, even in low ambient conditions. It delivers whole-home heating, cooling and hot water through a compact internal energy centre, with absolutely nothing visible outside.
