Schüco showcases latest door and window systems in the Grand House

Schüco, a leading supplier of premium aluminium and steel window and door systems, is proud to be supplying a selection of its products for the Grand House, new to this year’s Grand Designs Live. What sets Schüco apart is not just its commitment to high quality design, but also its dedication to user experience.

Visitors are invited to test the products in the Grand House, to experience first hand the ease of operation, exceptional quality, and seamless functionality that defines the Schüco brand.

What you can expect to see in the Grand House

Making its debut this year, designed specifically for the UK market, the AWS 80 SC window is a testament to the company’s commitment to cutting-edge design. This new system has fully concealed fittings for a clean look and is engineered for smooth operation. The windows can be side-hung or top-hung, with a range of colour options and handles to choose from. The Grand House will also feature a glazing system tailored for the front entrance, demonstrating the versatility of Schüco in its ability to create cohesive architectural solutions.

Two Schüco bifold doors will be showcased in the Grand House, demonstrating impressive panel sizes which reduce the number of panels required. As can be seen in the display, the doors combine these expansive glass panels with slim sightlines, resulting in a seamless fusion of space efficiency and modern design. Visitors can try out the system’s robust steel rollers that allow the doors to glide smoothly and be manoeuvred with incredible ease, no matter the size of the doors.

An exciting addition to the Grand House comes as Schüco introduces its brand-new sliding door, launched this year. Characterised by slim sightlines and an integrated locking system, the doors are available with a variety of opening configurations, and can even be built as a corner feature. This durable system is available in extremely large sizes, however the

precision engineering allows even the biggest doors to slide open smoothly. Can’t believe it? Come and try yourself!

The products on display in the Grand House are not only a testament to Schüco excellence but also a result of collaborations with reputable partners. Schüco works with a network of expertly trained partners around the UK and Ireland; The Bifold Door Factory, Aumaxum, and Alco Glass are the trusted suppliers responsible for manufacturing and installing the showcased Schüco products.
