Gaviota UK brought two of its most exciting products to the Grand House at Grand Designs Live Birmingham, giving visitors the rare opportunity to see premium outdoor shading up close and speak directly with the people behind the brand.
On display was the Lusol, Gaviota's flagship full cassette awning and winner of the prestigious Red Dot Design Award 2025. One of the most respected design accolades in the world, the Red Dot Award recognises outstanding product design and innovation, and the Lusol earned it through a combination of beautifully sculpted rounded lines, premium UK manufacture, and exceptional long-term performance.
In further recognition of Gaviota's commitment to design excellence, the group has now won the Red Dot Award for the second consecutive year, this time for the new Sama cassette awning. The Sama is expected to join the UK range in 2027, making it one to watch for anyone planning an outdoor project next year.
Also on display was the Clima Air, Gaviota's mid range retractable roof pergola, which drew considerable interest from visitors planning garden rooms and covered outdoor spaces.
