Vincent Timber Take Centre Stage at Grand Designs Live

Vincent Timber is set to showcase an impressive array of new timber and cladding products at Grand Designs Live 2017, the UK’s leading contemporary home show, which is taking place in Birmingham from the 11-15th October 2017.

Held at the Birmingham NEC, Vincent Timber will be one of more than 500 exhibitors at this hugely popular, five-day event. Offering the largest range of timber cladding products and decking solutions in the UK, the company’s Cape Cod and Sivalbp® factory coated products are set to be a stand-out with visitors to the home improvement show.

On stand B304, representatives from Vincent Timber will be available to demonstrate an incredible line-up of products including two new items from the Silvabp® range including Radiata Pine - New Age Grey which features a grey ‘pre-weathered’ sacrificial coating at the time of installation, protecting the timber as nature takes over. In addition, Thermally Treated Pine in Vintage Café Black offers a stunning contemporary ‘charred look’ and exceptional durability and environmental credentials.

New colours from the Cape Cod semi-transparent range including Brown Otter and Highland Grey will also prove to be a draw and provide inspiration for discerning architects, designers and self-builders looking for the natural look whilst retaining high performance.

“Grand Designs Live is a hugely popular show and provides us with a great opportunity to showcase our market-leading range of timber cladding and decking products,” said John Vincent, Chairman of Vincent Timber. “We are looking forward to participating in this year’s event.”

Incredibly durable, low maintenance and available in an array of colours, Cape Cod offers a 15 year paint guarantee and provides a stylish, natural and environmentally sound cladding solution for buildings of virtually any size. Produced from Canadian Lodgepole Pine sourced from sustainable managed forests, PEFC-certified Cape Cod offers all the benefits of natural wood with a low maintenance finish.

An increasingly popular specification for residential facade projects, Sivalbp produces a number of timber lines, including larch, spruce and Western Red Cedar and in a range of colours as well as attractive shades of grey for a ready-weathered appearance.

Visitors to the stand will also get a chance to see Vincent Timber’s comprehensive range of decking solutions, Western Red Cedar Shingles for roofs, and the new pre-painted ‘walling’ cedar shingles.
