Using arresting hand-screened posters, Scarlett Riggs’ Alter Your Mind campaign is aimed at young people, from 18-25. “I want to alter their mindset and subvert their wasteful consumer habits.” She adds: “£140 million worth of clothing goes to landfill each year and extending the life cycle of a garment by just nine months can significantly reduce this. If we change our behaviour, we can have a positive impact on the current climate crisis.” Scarlett will design posters especially for GREEN GRADS at GRAND DESIGNS LIVE.
