One Artisan was created by Stroud-based artist Darren Rumley.

After many years of painting on canvas, Darren decided to experiment with working with concrete and thus One Artisan was born.

With a passion for sculptural pieces, Darren wanted to create “art with a function”. Concrete is a very tactile material, and when mixed with other organic products, it provides the most wonderful physical presence. It is not only beautiful and robust but is difficult to resist touching.

One Artisan specialises in designing handcrafted concrete furniture and lights for the home, office or outdoor environment from our workshop in Stroud, Gloucestershire. Many of our pieces fuse together concrete, resin and reclaimed timber, creating one-off, unique items that will last a lifetime.
