Since the opening of her very first studios 1997, Jo Downs has established herself as one of the world’s leading glass designers. Having begun her career in architectural glass, creating luxury installations for hotels, cruise liners and private clients, she went on to establish a string of galleries across Cornwall and the South East which showcase her uniquely beautiful giftware and interior collections.

Cornwall, where she has lived for more than twenty years, has been a significant influence on her work, which is known primarily for its dazzling ocean palette and coastal motifs. Jo launches new gallery collections each season, and offers a range of pieces from tiny trinket bowls to tea light stands and fold form vases, as well as large scale framed artworks, mirrors, wall mounted panels and extraordinary multi piece installations.

She also offers a bespoke service for both private and corporate clients. Jo’s skill, experience and state of the art studio mean she is able to create structurally complicated or large-scale works including chandeliers, windows and spectacular artworks, and she is regularly commissioned to create one-off designs for interior design and architectural projects across the world.
