Painted hardwood framing, generous glazing and a traditional roof lantern create a light-filled living space with a strong connection to the garden. The proportions, roofline and detailing were carefully considered so that the new structure sits comfortably against the existing stonework and appears as an integral part of the home.

The project extends beyond the orangery itself, with the surrounding stone terraces, retaining walls and integrated external lighting helping to create a cohesive transition from interior to garden. By day the space is bright and connected to its surroundings; in the evening, subtle lighting transforms the terrace and orangery into an inviting extension of the home.

The result combines traditional craftsmanship, sympathetic architectural design and contemporary living to create a space that enhances both the property and the way it is enjoyed.
