This project involved the design and installation of a fully integrated Control4 smart home and private home cinema within a high-end residential build in Sevenoaks, Kent. Delivered by New Wave, the scope encompassed whole-home automation, advanced networking, security, lighting control, and a dedicated private home cinema designed to rival commercial theatres.

From the outset, the client’s brief was clear: technology should enhance everyday living without ever becoming intrusive. Our role was to translate that ambition into a cohesive, reliable system that worked seamlessly alongside the wider construction team, including the main contractor, specialist trades, and interior designer.

Throughout the project, we worked closely with the client’s architect, interior designer, and contractors. Early coordination ensured that infrastructure, cabling, lighting loads, acoustic treatments, and equipment locations were cleanly integrated into the building’s fabric. This high level of collaboration was particularly critical in areas such as lighting control, networking, and the bespoke home cinema.
