Kent Smart Home Automation Project
Our design input covered all aspects of the home’s technology — from Control4 whole-home lighting control and multi-room audio to networking, security, and access control. By collaborating closely with the wider project team, we ensured that lighting circuits, containment, and cable routes were fully coordinated, maintaining the architectural integrity of the spaces while delivering a robust technical foundation.
The completed system offers a refined and intuitive living experience. A Control4 platform brings together lighting, audio, CCTV, and vehicle access control into one user-friendly interface. The robust network and Wi-Fi coverage provide reliable connectivity throughout the property and garden, supporting all automation and entertainment services.
For entertainment, Triad speakers deliver rich multi-room audio both indoors and outdoors, while a high-performance media room features Artcoustic speakers and a hidden subwoofer, achieving powerful sound with a clean, minimalist aesthetic. A Luma CCTV system and integrated vehicle access control provide advanced security and convenience, all controlled via the same intuitive interface.
Throughout the property, the network and wireless infrastructure were carefully designed to support high-performance connectivity and reliable system control, ensuring a robust foundation for all smart technologies.
Entertainment was a key part of the brief, so a dedicated media room was designed and installed, complete with high-performance audio-visual components, acoustic treatments, and automated lighting scenes that create a big-screen experience at the touch of a button.
Every element was designed to complement the home’s sophisticated aesthetic — from discreetly placed speakers and lighting scenes that enhance mood and function, to a strong, invisible network backbone that ensures flawless performance throughout.
