We were approached by a client in Chipperfield, Hertfordshire, as they had recently changed jobs and would be spending more time at home working.

The current home working set up was not adequate nor a long term solution – a desk in a bedroom.

A beautiful house, with a wrap-around garden, we agreed upon an area of the garden that was being underutilised by a wooden shed.

Clearing some bushes and removing the shed allowed us to build a really stunning cedar clad garden office, measuring 5m wide x 2.6m deep and 2.5m in height.

In addition we also complimented the build with a bespoke fence made of the same cedar cladding that seamlessly blends in to the garden building.

From design to completion, we carried out all works inhouse. We installed the following:

• A reinforced concrete slab
• Steel footing pedestals
• Timber frame
• Western Red cedar cladding and soffit
• Anthracite grey aluminium fascia
• Anthracite grey uPVC French doors and floor to ceiling window
• Plastered and painted walls
• Herringbone flooring, skirting & architrave
• Partitioned walls for a separate storage room for tools and garden furniture
• Electrics, heating and data
• Bespoke cedar clad fence and gate
