Seamless Integration of an 18kW Heat Pump System on Wall in a London Terraced House Renovation

Background:

The customer, residing in the SW11 area of London, recently purchased a large terraced house that is currently undergoing refurbishment. With a focus on sustainability and energy efficiency, the customer sought to install a heat pump to serve as the primary heating system for the renovated property. After a professional site survey conducted by Megawave Energy Solutions' surveyor Lawrence, the heat loss calculation determined the need for an 18kW heat pump. Understanding the importance of seamless integration and space optimization, the customer expressed a desire to preserve the garden space and opted to install the 150kg heat pump on the roof wall, atop the back extension.

Client's Requirements:

  1. Installation of a large 18kW heat pump.
  2. Seamless integration with the ongoing refurbishment.
