KD-Haus UK Ltd is an established UK company with a strong link to KD-Haus GmbH, a long-established German company which designs, manufactures and erects bespoke modern timber post and beam houses all over the continent.

Our service in the UK, British territories and Ireland can range from providing only the timber frame, roof, walls and windows, for the customer to complete, up to building an entire home complete with all services and finishes which is ready to move into.

Our process provides for a bespoke design to suit your site and your requirements. Our designs are flexible and can provide pitched or flat roofs with car ports, garages and home offices as integrated or stand-alone features.

The owner of the company is Matthew Wintersgill, a qualified architect, whose architectural practice (W&M Architects LLP) can also provide related services including making planning applications and evaluating potential sites, if that would assist you.  KD is also happy to work with your own architect or surveyor if you would prefer.

Our houses meet the UK Building Regulations and are energy-efficient and can be fitted with heat pumps, underfloor heating, rainwater recycling, whole house ventilation systems and other energy-saving methods.  Our windows are all triple-glazed as standard.

Our service is prompt and we can generally come back to you within two weeks with an initial design for your comments and a budget price, depending on whether you would like a outer shell-only house or a complete house which is ready to move into.
