Heritage Reborn: Blending Old Charm with Sustainable Modern Living

Heritage Reborn: Blending Old Charm with Sustainable Modern Living
A derelict cottage reimagined with contemporary SIPs extensions, blending traditional brickwork with timber cladding, expansive glazing, and a sleek slate roof for sustainable modern living
This project redefines a once-derelict cottage, transforming it into a light-filled, energy-efficient home that bridges past and present. The original structure is carefully restored and paired with two contemporary SIPs extensions, creating a dynamic contrast between traditional materials and modern form. Clean lines, natural cladding, and expansive glazing introduce a sense of openness while maintaining a strong connection to the surrounding landscape. Designed with sustainability at its core, the home achieves high levels of thermal performance and airtightness, delivering comfort, efficiency, and a renewed sense of purpose for a previously forgotten building.
Blending time-worn charm with cutting-edge sustainability, a cold,  damp cottage is reimagined as a stunning, high-performance SIPs home.  SIPs extensions to the side and rear introduce bright, energy-efficient living spaces.  Seamlessly united by a striking glass stairwell.  Completing the transformation a detached garage & gym, adding  practicality and style
