After graduating with first class honours in International Business, I moved to London where I live with my husband James, 2-year old daughter Delilah and cat Bibi.
My own approach to leadership and problem solving, dedication and attention to detail have proven key elements of a successful Change Management career in the City. Although I work hard in the office during the day, my true love and outlet is creative design. I am passionate about use of colour, period style, architectural salvage and combining antique or vintage objects with modern day technology and comforts to create an environment that entices the senses yet provokes a relaxed welcoming feel.
My style has evolved from personal experience renovating my Battersea townhouse as well as my natural appreciation of space and artful character.
I currently live in London but I have a close connection with the countryside and a genuine affinity with animals, which has influenced my work to incorporate beautiful natural textures and weathered patina, leading to a cosy slightly undone feel.
I love to spend time scouring flea markets and searching through salvage for those unique pieces that give my style its individuality. I like to mix a sense of faded grandeur with modern design. A bit of vintage glamour crossed with a bit of industrial style, a touch repurposed. I create layers to encapsulate an intangible sense of history and charm, with a bit of drama yet surreptitious practicality.
The Other Door:
Friends have told me for many years that I am certainly capable of combining my creative talent and business acumen to deliver fantastic results. Initial industry feedback on my designs has been incredible and I am progressing at a pace I hadn't predicted.
My experience and skillset lends itself to bespoke interior design and styling projects, expanding to take on country homes, holiday boltholes and the hospitality industry.
