Loom & Light is a high-end, family-run soft furnishings workroom based in Watford. The business is led by a mother and her daughters, with decades of experience passed down through generations. Our mum was a professional machinist and seamstress for over 40 years, running a clothing manufacturing business in Portugal before moving to the UK and specialising in curtain making.

Having grown up around factories, fabrics, and machines, we’ve taken that legacy and built a workroom focused on bespoke, handmade soft furnishings. Every piece is made to order with exceptional attention to detail, combining traditional techniques with thoughtful design. Our work is rooted in craftsmanship, patience, and pride in making things properly.
