Judit Kollo Ceramics
Imagine entering a space where wall tiles narrate the story of a Japanese heirloom, or walking beneath a grand chandelier inspired by a former resident’s passion for orchids. Picture stepping outside on a dark night, where the gentle glow of abstract sculptural forms transforms the landscape into an otherworldly experience.
With my practice I aim to explore the natural world and translate its wonder into our built environments. To create a multi-layer experience I combine seemingly disparate disciplines together; technology, illustration and ceramics.
My journey began by gaining admission to the prestigious Fine and Applied School in Budapest. I continued my undergraduate studies at Central Saint Martins in London, then earned my MFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 2012.
I have been exhibiting world-wide and won numerous awards in the art and design industry.
I established my own practice in 2012. I have been collaborating with clients on small and large scale projects, exploring new possibilities within the interior, architectural, and landscape industries.
