The role of building demonstrators in technology development and integration in the built environment with SPECIFIC

As an innovation and Knowledge Centre SPECIFIC is uniquely placed to help business develop and prove new products to aid the decarbonisation of the built environment. The ability to help de-risk first of a kind or novel pre-commercial products and assess their integration and performance in actual buildings is critical to prove new technology or control strategies. This talk looks at the SPECIFIC demonstration program, the building and technology solutions, their performance data and learning along the way.
