Tarek Merlin is Director and Co-Founder of Feix&Merlin Architects, a London based design studio working across Architecture and Interiors.
Tarek graduated from the Bartlett, and originally worked at Foster & Partners before joining Will Alsop at his studio in Battersea in 2001. He co-founded Feix&Merlin Architects with Julia Feix in 2006 and they now have a talented team of architectures and interior designers with over 20 years’ experience successfully delivering projects across the UK and Europe in a variety of scales and sectors.
Most recently Feix&Merlin have completed The Conduit a members club in Mayfair with a strong sustainability and community focus, and they have just won the competition for the refurbishment and redevelopment of the old Walworth Town Hall, Southwark.
Feix&Merlin have just submitted planning for a new-build home in the Jewellery Quarter Birmingham. The four-storey building occupies a previously vacant corner site overlooking the city centre. The project is a self-build project for a long-time friend of the studio, Martin Stockley, and the building will be a new home is for his family.
