Ticket Queries

I did not receive a confirmation email for my tickets or I have lost my tickets, what can I do?

If you have booked via See Tickets please visit the following page to access your tickets

Do carers require tickets?

Carers attending with disabled visitors are entitled to free entry to the Show, as long as the person they are attending with has purchased their own ticket.
Please collect your carer ticket from the box office at the Show.

Does my ticket give me access to Green Living Live? Or will my Green Living Live ticket give me access to Grand Designs Live?

Yes, you can access both shows with either ticket. Visit the Green Living Live website to find out more about the brand new show, located next to Grand Designs Live.

How much are tickets?

Standard Tickets - £13 - £16

On-the-door Tickets - £17 weekday and £20 weekend

Child Tickets - Children aged 15 and under can attend for free

Can I buy tickets on the door?

Yes, tickets are available at the box office which is located next to the entrance of the show.

Is my ticket valid for more than one day?

Weekday tickets are valid for any one weekday and weekend tickets are valid for any one weekend day.

If you wish to attend more than one day either weekday or weekend, you will need to purchase another ticket for each new day you attend.

Do I need to print my E Ticket?

Your tickets will be attached to your See tickets confirmation email. You can show your ticket on your phone, but you must show the actual ticket with barcode, not just an email showing the order.

Is there a lost property?

At ExCeL London there is a lost property area located by the west entrance, down the stairs, just after Costa. If you are no longer at the venue please  call on: +44(0) 207 069 4500 or email info@excel.london

At NEC Birmingham the lost property area is located in the Piazza between Subway and Hall 1 within the Security Office. There’s also a smaller Security Office in the Atrium near Hall 6. Once the show’s over, all lost property is moved to the Piazza Security Office. Call 0121 767 3883 for more assistance.

Other Questions about the Show

Can I speak with an expert on a one to one basis?

Yes, you can book a 30-minute consultation with one of your experts. You can reserve your spot in advance here. Pre-bookings open around six weeks prior to the show dates and will close before the opening day. The other alternative is to visit the Ask an Expert area upon arrival at the venue, where you can book an appointment on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Do you have to book for the live talks beforehand?

No, you can turn up to the live talk without booking, but we recommend turning up 15 minutes before the talks so that you can get a seat and see the talk. You can plan which talks you would like to attend on the Grand Designs Magazine Theatre here

Is there food and drink in the event?

Yes, take a break at one of the many cafés and bars at Grand Designs Live, as well as sample and purchase food and drink from our top exhibitors.

Are dogs allowed into the event?

Grand Designs Live only allows assistance animals into the show.

NEC policy

Only trained assistance dogs are permitted in the venue - this includes front of house catering areas and in event seating.

Are children allowed to the event?

Children 15 and under can attend for free when accompanied by an adult. A child ticket is required to enter the show. This can be booked online with your order or you can collect these from the box office on the day of your visit. A maximum of two children can attend the event per adult.

Will show photography and videography be taken during the show? 

The purchase of a ticket signifies acceptance that as members of the audience, ticket holders may be filmed, sound recorded and/or photographed for broadcast and/or future publicity.
