‘Draw my Dream Home’ returns for 2012!

After 100s of visitors to the Grand Designs Live show in 2011 took advantage of the unique free service provided by Baca Architects, this year the team of award-winning architects with a 100% track record in achieving planning permission are returning to “Draw Your Dream Home”, as part of a no obligation consultation to help visitors capture their design visions on paper.

BACA’s professional team will also be leading a design workshop as part of the event’s seminar programme.  The session, designed to help bewildered home-builders through the briefing process, will offer tips on everything from writing a professional design brief to guidance on how to avoid costly mistakes. The interactive design class will also involve home owners who are making, or have recently made, design changes to their own homes to share their anxieties, learning, and experience of the design and construction process. 

This year Baca is introducing a pre-booking service.  More information on how to book is coming soon.

All of the sketches will be posted to their owners at the end of the show, with the best piece signed and stylishly framed. Pictured are Mr and Mrs Hickey from Scarborough with their gorgeous dream house, sketched by Baca last year, which the couple is now planning to build in North Yorks.
