Steve and Claire Love first opened Loves Restaurant in 2001 in the 15 years since have won numerous national awards including placing in the Top 100 Restaurants in the UK for the past 4 years running and 3AA Rosettes for 6 years for the Birmingham Restaurant. The consultancy launched 2 years ago offers others looking to set up their own restaurant, pub or hotel the support needed to make their dream a business success. From menu developement to kitchen design, business planning, brand and website creation to the actual nitty gritty of opening and running a business, Steve and Claire have put their experience to good use helping many others in the industry.
From the Midlands, Steve Love has took the culinary world by storm in 1997 when he won the Roux Scholarship award. Since then he has gone on to scopp almost every other chef competition award available including Midland Chef of the Year, National Chef of the Year for Great Britain and Master of the Culinary Arts. He is one of only 2 people in the whole country that holds all three awards. On top of that he has achieved his mark by retaining 3 AA Rosettes for his dining in his Birmingham restaurant until it closed in 2015 and brings his wealth of expertise to the help and support other chefs in his consultancy, with menu development, kitchen design, Rosette training and Kitchen management.

|Whats the most important thing to consider when designing a kitchen?||Always the flow. I try and imagine how to move and cook in the space given, making sure it all flows in a highly pressured environment is key|

|If you had to choose a last meal, what would it be?||Simply medium rare steak, chunky chips, salad, my peppercorn sauce and a bottle of red wine chosen by the wife!!|
