Kevin McCloud will curate a new feature at Grand Designs Live in May that will showcase ten truly innovative eco ideas!
The experience of documenting hundreds of buildings over the past two decades and filming and broadcasting dozens of programme for Grand Designs, the Stirling Prize, Grand Tour and Demolition, has given Kevin an enormously wide knowledge of materials, the latest technologies and new sustainable practices out there in the construction market, making him a touchstone for innovative ideas and inventive products.
Building on that experience we're excited about bringing these cutting-edge products and designs to the show! Kevin McCloud has personally chosen ten products or inventions that he feels deserve wider recognition. Some of these left-field ideas may not have hit the high street yet and some are already on a high street but are some of the best-kept green secrets around! We’re hoping that Grand Designs Live will give them some wider exposure and raise awareness of the environmental issues that prompted their invention.
Kevin’s Green Heroes will be situated in the Design Arcade, the main avenue towards the seminar theatre. Each of the ten products will be on display for you to see.
